Waitlist

If you join the Flowy waitlist, we store your email address, the time you subscribed, and the signup source so we can send launch and early-access updates. You can opt out of these emails at any time. Waitlist information is kept separate from cycle and symptom data.

Information we collect

Flowy stores the account identifier you choose (email address, phone number, Apple, or Google identity), the onboarding/profile details you provide, cycle and symptom entries, notes, preferences, and any profile image you upload. We do not require every optional field.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, sync your records, show and update your cycle calendar, calculate clearly labeled estimates, schedule local reminders, provide exports and deletion controls, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

Product analytics and diagnostics

Flowy uses PostHog to measure privacy-safe product events such as app opens, screen visits, onboarding steps, sign-up progress, and feature actions. Flowy uses Sentry for crashes, errors, performance traces, app hangs, and a breadcrumb trail of those same product actions so we can diagnose failures. We do not send names, contact details, cycle answers, symptoms, notes, health values, or calendar dates in analytics events, and session replay is disabled in both services.

Apple Health

Apple Health is optional. With your explicit permission, Flowy reads only the selected menstrual flow, basal temperature, cervical mucus, and sleep samples and syncs typed records to your private Flowy account. Flowy does not write data to Apple Health. You can change Health access in iOS at any time.

Service providers and purchases

We do not sell personal or health data. Supabase provides authentication, database, server functions, and private image storage. RevenueCat and Apple process subscription and purchase status. Apple and Google process their respective sign-in methods. PostHog provides product analytics, and Sentry provides error and performance monitoring. These providers receive only the information needed to provide their service under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Storage, security, and retention

Canonical account data is stored in Supabase with owner-scoped access controls, and sensitive local caches use iOS file protection. We retain account and health records until you delete them or your account. Requested export files are protected and automatically removed from temporary app storage after 15 minutes or when you leave the export screen. Limited billing event records may be retained for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations; Apple keeps its own purchase records.

Your choices and control

In Flowy you can correct past entries, export your data, or reset health data while keeping your account. A health reset removes health onboarding answers, cycle setup and history, imported Apple Health observations, reminder choices, predictions, and hidden health-chat history; it keeps authentication, profile identity and image, general app preferences, media, and subscription status. You can also permanently delete your account and owned data, disable notifications in iOS, disconnect Apple Health, manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple, and contact us for access or privacy questions.

Wellness and fertility estimates

Cycle and fertile-window dates are estimates based on the information available to Flowy. They are not a diagnosis, medical advice, or birth control. Manual tracking remains available when Apple Health access is declined or unavailable.
